What ive felt, what ive known never shined through what ive shown
Saturday was Alex's birthday. We gathered for sushi and then at his place before a karaoke adventure. At first things were tame but they got out of hand real fast...

Dear Diary part 1
If I could find a way to recap my recent visit to Boston and make it like an episode of law & order with black screens and white letters telling of where the next event is taking place all of this preluded by a very serious sound effect, I would. However until I master my power point skills I will instead share imagery and long winded prose about my not so adventurous adventures in America. Pardon the awful grammar, I am not a writer. Read or do not this is for me anyway.
July 20th
I land in Boston. I walk through the very familiar doors of the Boston Logan Airport. I am tired after travelling all night and all morning from airplane to airplane. Although I am relieved to finally be in beantown I am sickened by the thought of taking the silver or blue line to the orange line in the heat with my luggage to Jamaica Plain where my dearest Danielle Giaquinto resides. So, in keeping with my poor financial decisions I opt for taking a very expensive taxi ride. It's about 1pm when I arrive at the montebello palace. I know dani has to leave for work in a few hrs and my plan is to sleep on her couch while she works and wait for my mister to arrive back in Boston. He has been in the midwest playing at dudefest (gig season afterall) and is scheduled to arrive around 7pm (ha.) My plans to nap are foiled when a mutual friend of dani's and mine (Sam) who is in town from seattle arrives and insists that instant that we go visit danielle at work and get food. We set off to Cambridge to Dante where the lovely Danielle is a cocktail waitress. We feast on gourmet olives, hummus, bruschetta, and french fries & truffle sauces (that I am not a fan of). We head back to JP and instead of doing anything else I sit and wait for Justin to get back in town ( they missed their flight and end up stuck at the airport, so i finally nap) Around midnight he and the very charming Craig Arms (Carms) arrive and wisk me away to the hills (no actual hills) of West Roxbury where I retire for the night.
July 21st
wake up around noon it's rainy but hot. I follow Justin on his morning routine. This routine consists of walking to get breakfast (builders bar and starbucks) . He has Brazilian Jiu jitsu class and I have a craving for My thai ( a pretty decent vegetarian place ) I forget my phone but I meet up with Sam , Kayla(kay kay) , Ashley and Sean ( we only hang out at My thai) While the ladies discuss, hormones and ovaries and selling eggs, Sean and I discuss comics and asshole parade (because secretly I am a 13yr old boy) I order a bowl of soup containing noodles, chinese mushrooms and assorted fake meats as well as some Roll Sod ( rice paper wraps with vermicelli, mint, carrots and tofu dipped in peanut sauce) As usual I pick at Ashley's uneaten broccoli. After dinner there is talk of a movie but I have already been apart from Justin for a total of 3 hrs and I wanna go hang with him because that is the reason I travelled to boston in the first place. So the ladies drive me back to W.rox and it is a good time. Justin greets us outside he is wearing sweatpants and crocs and although I do not recall what else happened that evening i'm sure it was something like us watching wrestling, sports highlights and then me watching law&order while he went jogging. Oh yes it was an early evening for us because we planned on heading to NYC the next morning.
July 22/09
Justin's father the real DFJ (dance floor john aka Mr. De Tore) insists we take the Amtrak to NYC instead of the chinatown bus. So we do. The train is cushy although I feel ill if i look out the window at the dizzying blur of landscape.
We arrive at Penn station and cab to our luxe hotel in the lower east side (www.thompsonles.com )
its about 4pm when we meet up with Kelly at red bamboo for a snack. I have my favorite Cajun "shrimp". Kelly insists she treats us to this new vegetarian restaurant called Dirty Candy. So we go hit a few stores before dinner. I buy a few things from Uniqlo nothing too exciting and we go to the hotel. Cant get ahold of Dirty Candy so we werent sure if it was open or what the deal was so Kelly and I decide to go eat at the restaurant in the hotel( justin stays in the room as its not really his cup of tea plus he's grumpy sick of new york and following around silly girls). We eat alot of different over stylized fusion food. things like wasabi mashed potatoes, I cant exactly recall what else. We go to the silly VIP lounge in the hotel so i can buy Kelly a drink but mostly because its rooftop and I want to see the view at night. Kelly headed home and I went with Justin to get a slice of pizza from Rosario's a pizza place I visit everytime im in new york.
