movie pick #1 : BADLANDS
starring : Martin Sheen, Sissy Spacek
what happens: A young and handsome yet troubled Martin Sheen in the 1950's falls for a preteen neighbourhood lass played by Sissy Spacek of "CARRIE" fame..( god knows why. shes about as good looking as a moldy loaf of bread) but anyways they go on a killing rampage starting with the murder of the young girls father..This was a movie picked out by Tyson to show me that old movies are good movies too.
why i like it:-because its based on a true story
-because it proves that ugly people can only be loved by murderous psychos
- because Martin Sheen looks DAMN GOOD outfitted in a canadian tuxedo

Movie pick # 2: I'll Sleep When I'm Dead

starring : Clive Owen, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Malcolm Mcdowell
what happens : Clive Owen is a former gangster who leaves town to get away from the G life. but is drawn back to town after his younger brother(jonathan Rhys Meyers) is attacked and takes his own life. Owens character comes back to town to get some answers and avenge his brothers death.
why i liked it : because for a large part of the movie Clive Owen looks like a lumberjack
why i didnt really like: - because i couldnt tell if the lead woman in the role was supposed to be his love interest or his mother
- because male rape scenes are awkward
- and although i may sound very much like all of my high school teachers... it had all the potential in the world but failed to succeed. totally fell short.

Movie Pick # 3 - Match Point

starring: Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Scarlet Johansson
what its about : JRM is lower class who befriends his wealthy tennis pupil , weasels his way into the uppercrust lifestyle by marrying his friends sister but all goes astray when JRM falls for his friends Blonde American harlet ex girlfriend played by Scarlet J. From there the plot winds through the roads of lust , betrayal and even MURDER.
why i liked it: because i love pretty much all of woody allen's films.
because it was a very dark woody allen movie
because i entirely support throwing away moral if it means your bank account will be blingin'
why i didnt like it: because this movie made me realize i hate scarlet johanssens voice.

it's just a phase that you're going to grow out of when you die.

once this house held a spectacular dance party, but on
this particular evening the spence house was hosting
a wonderful pizza potluck dinner party.
Mike Requima was there. we are all so glad he's home
featuring yam and regular homemade fries
Ryan's home made pizza dough. I didnt take any
pics of the finished pizzas cuz i was too busy eating them
so delicious.
Ryan also made samosas.. he is a wonderful cook.
